RUNES
—–
General Runes information:
There is a lot to know about runes and is good to know and understand some of this information before starting with them:
– The quality of the rune, along with the skill level of your souldepth skill determines the attachement chance of a rune.
The ql of the rune does not influence anything else, a 10% bonus from a 1ql rune is the same 10% bonus of a 99ql rune.
– If the attaching of a rune failes, the rune is consumed in the process and you will have to try again with a new rune.
– The item you attempt to rune cannot be shattered during a runing process, like with casting.
– Most runes are material specific: Crystal for metal items, Wood for wood and Stone for Stone, Leather, Cloth and Pottery
Some runes however are “unisex”, meaning regardless the resource type, they can be used on anything: Like the Stone rune of Magranon, zinc (for eg xl mailbox and speed/size rune for boats, carts and wagons)
– A rune effect is permanent and does not wear off, only 1 rune can be attached to any item at a time. You can replace an existing rune by attaching a new rune to the item.
